Local MSP Iain Smith was at the St Andrews University Student Union today to visit the DAPL (Drugs Alcohol Project Levenmouth) Alcohol Awareness Week Roadshow.

Commenting on his visit Iain Smith said:

"The work that DAPL does all year round on drug and alcohol awareness is invaluable and it is particularly important that they visited St Andrew's University Student's Association during Alcohol Awareness Week."

"It is extremely important that young people, who may be away from home for the first time, are aware of how many units of alcohol are in the drinks they are purchasing at places like the Student Union so they can take responsibility for the alcohol they consume."
