North East Fife MSP and Convener of the Scottish Parliament's Economy, Energy and Tourism Committee Iain Smith has opened the new look St Andrews Visitor Centre in Market Street.
Commenting on the new tourist hub, Iain Smith said:
"The tourist industry in North East Fife is vital, both in terms of the jobs it creates and the impact it has on the local economy.
"We are blessed with some of the country's finest tourist attractions right here on our doorstep such as the world class golf and award winning blue flag beaches, Britain's best fish and chip shop in Anstruther and Scotland's restaurant of the year the Peat Inn, the scenic East Neuk and Falkland Palace, all of which this wonderful new centre will play an important role in promoting."
