SMITH CALLS FOR BUSINESS NOMINATIONS TO ATTEND PARLIAMENTARY CONFERENCE
North East Fife MSP, Iain Smith is calling on the business community in North East Fife to nominate a delegate to the 5th "Business in the Parliament " conference, organised with the help of the leading business organisations (Confederation of British Industry, Federation of Small Business, Institute of Directors, Scottish
Chambers of Commerce and the Scottish Council for Development and Industry), the Scottish Trades Union Congress and, this year, with the assistance of the Scottish Parliament and Business Exchange and The National Endowment for Science, Technology and the Arts.
The proposed theme for this conference will be "Innovating for the Upturn".
The event will take place on the evening of Thursday 18th June and the following day, Friday 19th June, between approximately 8.00 a.m.and 2.00 p.m.
