SMITH CONGRATULATES CANONGATE PRIMARY ON BECOMINGING 700TH ECO-SCHOOL

North East Fife MSP, Iain Smith, has tabled a motion in the Scottish Parliament to congratulate the Canongate Primary in St Andrews on becoming the 700th Eco-School in Scotland.
Mr Smith said:
"The Eco-Schools scheme is a fantastic way of engaging young people with the environmental problems facing us all on both a local and a global level.
"The scheme teaches children the joy and the fun that comes from caring for the environment.
"I'm thrilled that the Canongate Primary has followed so many schools in Fife and become the 700th in Scotland to win this award."
